Why these checks: what owners reported

NHTSA complaints for the 2025 Dodge Durango, grouped by the part owners named. Open a row to read what goes wrong.

  • Electrical2No crashes

Adaptive cruise control shuts off without warning, including in heavy traffic, and a yellow warning light appears even when the system is not turned on. A related forward collision warning alert also comes on at random and calls for immediate service. The suggested workaround is to pull over and restart the car. Separately, the infotainment screen goes blank and loops through restarts while driving, taking navigation and the backup camera with it. Losing these driver aids without notice raises crash risk in traffic and when reversing. Only 2 complaints are on file so far.
