Which Ariya is it?

EPA figures for each version of the 2025 Nissan Ariya. Use them to confirm you are looking at the version that was advertised, and as a yardstick on the test drive.

VersionDriveEPA rating
ElectricAWD, FWD272–289 mi range
  • With a full charge, the range estimate on the dash should land near the EPA figure of 272–289 miles. A much lower number on a mild day can mean a worn battery; ask for a battery health report.

Why these checks: what owners reported

NHTSA complaints for the 2025 Nissan Ariya, grouped by the part owners named. Open a row to read what goes wrong.

  • Electrical5No crashes

The car fails to start a session at DC fast chargers, then shuts down with an "EV System Off" message. After that it will not restart or shift into gear, so it has to be towed. Several reports describe the same failure happening more than once on nearly new cars. Other complaints describe the car stopping on the highway, which is a clear crash risk, and dealers who could not reproduce the fault. Some owners also report false forward collision and rear cross traffic warnings that shut off cruise control, a dashboard that goes dark, and a driver's seat backrest that inflates on its own.

Complaints for this year next to the average for the other model years, area by area.
