Why these checks: what owners reported

NHTSA complaints for the 2025 Genesis GV60, grouped by the part owners named. Open a row to read what goes wrong.

  • Electrical2No crashes

The 12 volt battery stops recharging and goes dead, leaving the car completely lifeless with blank instruments. Both complaints describe this failure, and it can happen more than once on a car bought new. Getting back on the road takes manual access to open the hood and a jump start. A jump does not always fix it, and sometimes the car will not stay running until the battery is fully recharged. Dealer repairs are slow: one car stayed in the service department without a fix. Neither report gives a mileage or mentions a crash or fire.

In owners' own words

Electrical
