Which Wagoneer is it?

  • The 2025 Jeep Wagoneer was sold in two versions. Confirm which one this is from the window sticker, the engine cover, or the VIN report before you compare prices.
  • With a full charge, the range estimate on the dash should land near the EPA figure of 294 miles. A much lower number on a mild day can mean a worn battery; ask for a battery health report.

Why these checks: what owners reported

NHTSA complaints for the 2025 Jeep Wagoneer, grouped by the part owners named. Open a row to read what goes wrong.

  • Electrical2No crashes

Stalling and sudden, total brake failure are the two failures in these reports. In the stalling cases, the engine dies at idle or low speed and the transmission shifts itself into park. Restarting is the only fix, and it can happen several times a week. Brake failure is reported as early as 4,811 miles and came back after a dealer repair. Both failures carry clear crash risk. Dealers often blame software updates or say they cannot recreate the stalling, so repeat visits can keep the car in the shop for weeks. Only 2 complaints are on file.

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2022-2025 Jeep Wagoneer and Jeep Grand Wagoneer vehicles. The trim on the driver and passenger doors may not have been installed properly, which can allow it to detach.

Risk: Detached trim pieces can create a road hazard for other vehicles, increasing the risk of a crash.

Fix: Dealers will inspect and replace the door trim, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 25, 2025. Owners may contact FCA customer service at 1-800-853-1403. FCA's number for this recall is 77C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning September 18, 2025.
