Which EQS is it?

VersionDriveEPA rating
ElectricAWD, RWD345–352 mi range

Why these checks: what owners reported

NHTSA complaints for the 2024 Mercedes-Benz EQS, grouped by the part owners named. Open a row to read what goes wrong.

  • Body and structure3No crashes

Panoramic sunroof glass shatters while the car is moving at normal speed, with no rocks or other vehicles nearby, and can spray glass shards into the cabin. A second pattern involves the power trunk opening and closing on its own, even when the car is parked, locked, and switched off, which can pin or strike people standing behind it. Reports also describe a sunroof that will not close and exterior door handles that retract onto fingers and hands. All 3 complaints report injuries. None gives a mileage.
